Dick Yarmy Biography
Richard Yarmy (February 14, 1933 – May 5, 1992) was an American actor known for his appearances in films and television shows from the 1960s to the 1990s. Born in New York in 1933, Yarmy was the younger brother of actor Don Adams. He graduated from New York University with an engineering degree before pursuing acting. Yarmy's notable TV appearances include Get Smart, That Girl, The Partners, The Partridge Family, and Arnie. He also acted in films such as Bone, The Kentucky Fried Movie, The Swinging Barmaids, and Carpool. Additionally, Yarmy appeared in commercials, including George and Marge for Union Oil. He was married and had one daughter. Yarmy passed away from lung cancer in Studio City, Los Angeles.
