Dilys Laye

Dilys Laye (1934-2009) was an English actress and screenwriter, best known for her comedy roles. She was born in Muswell Hill, London and started her acting career at a young age. Laye appeared in various West End revues, such as And So to Bed and Intimacy at 8.30. She also made film and television appearances, including playing a younger version of Jean Kent in Trottie True. Laye's talent for comedy earned her recognition and she became known for her comedic roles. She continued to work in the entertainment industry until her passing in 2009.
