Dennis Dirk Blocker, born on July 31, 1957, is an American actor known for his work in movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his role as pilot Jerry Bragg in the military drama series Baa Baa Black Sheep (1976–1978). Blocker starred as Detective Michael Hitchcock in the popular comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine from 2013 to 2021. Born in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of renowned actor Dan Blocker and Dolphia Lee Blocker. Blocker made his first onscreen appearance alongside his father in a car commercial in 1964. Throughout his career, he has also made guest appearances in various TV shows, including ER, The X-Files, Murder, She Wrote, and M*A*S*H.
