DJ Jazzy Jeff

Jeffrey Allen Townes, born on January 22, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American DJ, record producer, and actor, known professionally as DJ Jazzy Jeff or Jazz. He gained recognition as a member of DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince alongside Will Smith. DJ Jazzy Jeff, along with DJs Spinbad and Cash Money, popularized the transformer scratch technique. He developed a passion for DJing at the age of ten, observing DJs at block parties and being fascinated by their ability to unite neighborhoods through music. Today, DJ Jazzy Jeff continues to contribute to the music industry as a highly respected DJ and producer.
