Dmitriy Karpov

Dmitriy Vasilyevich Karpov (Дмитрий Васильевич Карпов) is an athlete from Karaganda, Kazakhstan. He is known for his achievements in decathlon and heptathlon events. Born on July 23, 1981, Karpov won the bronze medal in the decathlon at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Some of his notable personal bests include 100 meters in 10.50 seconds, 400 meters in 46.81 seconds, high jump at 2.12 meters, and javelin throw at 60.31 meters. In heptathlon, Karpov set an Asian record with a score of 6229 in 2008.
