Dmitry Chepovetsky is a Canadian actor, born in 1970 in Lviv, Ukraine. His family emigrated to Canada in 1976, making a stopover in Italy before settling in Regina. Chepovetsky began his acting career in high school, performing in his first musical at the age of 14. He briefly considered a different career path and was accepted into the University of Toronto's commerce program on a scholarship, but dropped out after three weeks. He worked various jobs before attending Ryerson Theatre School. Chepovetsky is best known for his role as Bob Melnikov in the TV series ReGenesis. He splits his time between Vancouver and Toronto.
