Doja Cat, born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini on October 21, 1995, is an American rapper and singer. Raised in Los Angeles, she gained recognition by releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager. In 2014, Doja Cat signed a joint record deal with Kemosabe and RCA Records after her song 'So High' caught their attention. Her debut EP, 'Purrr!', was released the same year. After a hiatus, she gained viral success with her 2018 single 'Mooo!' and then released her second studio album, 'Hot Pink', in 2019. The album reached the top ten of the US Billboard 200 and produced the hit single 'Say So', featuring Nicki Minaj. Her third studio album, 'Planet Her', released in 2021, spent four weeks at number two on the Billboard 200 and produced top ten singles like 'Kiss Me More', featuring SZA.
