Dom Irrera (born November 18, 1948) is an American actor and stand-up comedian known for his storytelling-style comedy. Raised in an Italian-American family, Irrera often incorporates his childhood experiences into his material. He attended Barry University and St. Thomas University in Florida. Irrera has made numerous television appearances, including on shows like The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and The Late Show with David Letterman. He is also a regular performer at the Cat Laughs comedy festival in Kilkenny, having made 22 appearances. Irrera has acted in several shows, including Seinfeld and The King of Queens, and has made multiple appearances on the animated series Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist.
