Dominic Fumusa

Dominic Fumusa (born September 13, 1969) is an American stage and screen actor. He is best known for his role in the Showtime comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie. Fumusa was born and raised in Dane County, Wisconsin, and grew up in a large family with 10 siblings. He graduated from McFarland High School in 1987, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Lawrence University. He also holds a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Fumusa began his acting career in the Chicago theatre scene and made his Broadway debut in 1998 in a revival of Wait Until Dark. He has appeared in several Broadway productions, including Take Me Out and Tape. In addition to his work on stage, Fumusa has had roles in television shows such as As the World Turns and Sex and the City, where he played Carrie Bradshaw's ex-boyfriend Jim in the episode 'Frenemies'.
