Dominique Horwitz

Dominique Horwitz (born 23 April 1957) is a French film and television actor and singer. Born in Paris, France to German Jewish refugee parents, Horwitz moved to Berlin in 1971. He attended a Franco-German grammar-school and later settled in Hamburg, where he was married and has two children. Currently residing in Tiefengruben, Bad Berka, near Weimar in Thuringia, he is a prominent supporter of social institutions in Weimar and helps unemployed youths through a boxing club. Horwitz has appeared in over thirty films and fifty television productions, showcasing his talent as an actor. He is also known for organizing boxing tournaments that combine music and culture.
