Don McLean

Don McLean is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born on October 2, 1945, he is known as the 'American Troubadour' or 'King of the Trail'. McLean rose to fame with his 1971 hit song 'American Pie', a folk rock anthem that became a cultural touchstone for the early rock and roll generation. He has also achieved success with other popular singles such as 'Vincent', 'Dreidel', and 'Wonderful Baby'. McLean's songs have been covered by numerous artists, including Elvis Presley and Madonna.
