Dona Hardy

Dona Hardy (December 3, 1912 – February 13, 2011) was an American film and television actress. Born Jean Dona Barley in Los Angeles, she began her acting career late in life, portraying sweet, sometimes deceptively harmless-looking old ladies. Hardy had a brief dating relationship with actor Anthony Quinn in the early 1930s. Prior to her acting career, she served as the Executive Director of a United Way affiliate. During her acting career, Hardy appeared in TV shows such as The King of Queens and worked alongside actors like John Ritter, Matthew Perry, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. She retired at the age of 66 and passed away on February 13, 2011.
