Sir Donald Alfred Sinden (1923-2014) was a British actor known for his work in film, theatre, and television. Born in St Budeaux, Plymouth, Devon, Sinden began his career as a film star in the 1950s, featuring in movies such as 'Mogambo' (1953) and 'The Cruel Sea' (1953). He gained recognition for his award-winning Shakespearean performances and became a prominent figure in the West End theatre.
