Donatella Versace

Donatella Francesca Versace is an Italian fashion designer, businesswoman, socialite, and model. Born on May 2, 1955, in Reggio di Calabria, Italy, she is the sister of Gianni Versace, the founder of luxury fashion company Versace. Donatella worked closely with her brother in developing the brand, which combined Italian luxury with pop culture and celebrity. After Gianni's death in 1997, she inherited a portion of the Versace brand and became its creative director. Currently, Donatella serves as the brand's chief creative officer. Alongside her brother, she is widely recognized for casting editorial models on the runway and contributing to the supermodel phenomenon of the 1990s.
