She has worked as a campaign manager for prominent Democratic candidates, including Al Gore in 2000, becoming the first African American woman to direct a major presidential campaign. She has contributed her insights as a political analyst on various news networks, including ABC News, CNN, and Fox News. Brazile resigned from Fox News in May 2021 after being a contributor.
