Dorie Barton

Dorie Barton is an American actor, writer, and director known for her work in theater, film, and television. She started her acting career on the television soap opera 'One Life to Live', playing the role of Beth Garvey. After her time on the show, Barton ventured into writing and directing, making her debut in 2016. In addition to her creative endeavors, she also teaches theater at Virginia Commonwealth University. Born into an Army family, Barton grew up in various places, including Iowa and Virginia. She holds a BFA degree in theater from the California Institute of the Arts and recently completed her MFA in Theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University.
