She is the daughter of actress Diahnne Abbott and the adoptive daughter of actor Robert De Niro, whom her mother married in 1976. Growing up in a bohemian lifestyle, Drena split her time between New York City, Los Angeles, and Italy. After high school, she pursued a career in the entertainment industry, starting as a model and later becoming a DJ and fashion consultant. She also worked as a musical supervisor for Giorgio Armani. Drena made her acting debut in the film 'Grace of My Heart' and has since trained under Larry Moss, a renowned acting coach and author.
