Dub Taylor Biography
Walter Clarence "Dub" Taylor Jr. (February 26, 1907 – October 3, 1994) was an American character actor known for his work in films and television from the 1940s to the 1990s. He appeared in a wide range of genres, particularly Westerns and comedies. Born in Richmond, Virginia to Minnie and Walter C. Taylor Sr., Taylor grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He received his lifelong nickname "Dub" during his time in Georgia. Taylor's career spanned over five decades, and he is best known for his roles in Western films such as "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967) and "The Wild Bunch" (1969). He was also the father of actor Buck Taylor.
