Dwier Brown Biography
Dwier Brown (born January 30, 1959) is an American actor known for his roles in various films and TV shows. He gained recognition for portraying John Kinsella, the father of Kevin Costner's character, in the 1989 film Field of Dreams. Brown also appeared as Henry Mitchell in Dennis the Menace Strikes Again in 1998. He has made appearances in several horror films, including House (1986) and The Guardian (1990), directed by William Friedkin. His TV credits include roles in Firefly, Criminal Minds, and Ghost Whisperer. In addition to his acting career, Brown is also a writer and author. In 2014, he released his memoir titled If You Build It... which explores themes of fathers, fate, and Field of Dreams. Born in Wadsworth, Ohio, Brown graduated from Ashland University.
