William Dwight Schultz, born on November 24, 1947, is an American actor known for his roles in television, film, and voice acting. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Captain 'Howling Mad' Murdock in the 1980s action series The A-Team and as Reginald Barclay in the Star Trek franchise. Schultz has also made notable contributions to animation, lending his voice to characters such as Dr. Animo in the Ben 10 series, Adrian Toomes/Vulture in Marvel video games, Chef Mung Daal in Chowder, and Eddie the Squirrel in CatDog. Schultz was born in Baltimore and is of German descent. He attended Calvert Hall College High School and Towson University, and his breakthrough role was in The A-Team. He has appeared in films like The Fan (1981) and Fat Man and Little Boy (1989). In the early 1990s, he had a recurring role in Star Trek: The Next Generation as Lieutenant Reginald Barclay.
