Earl Stevens, better known by his stage name E-40, is an American rapper and actor. Born on November 15, 1967, in Vallejo, California, he is a founding member of the rap group The Click and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. With a career spanning over three decades, E-40 has released 26 studio albums and has appeared on numerous movie soundtracks. He gained mainstream popularity with his 1995 solo album 'In a Major Way' and his 2006 single 'Tell Me When to Go', produced by Lil Jon. E-40 is known for his collaborations with mainstream rappers and his contributions to the hip hop industry.
