Ebbe Bassey

Ebbe Bassey is a Nigerian American actress known for her roles in both Nigerian and American films. She gained recognition and was nominated for an Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as 'Maa Dede' in the film Ties That Bind (2011). Some of her notable film credits include Doctor Bello, Mother of George, NYPD Blue, and Turning Point. Bassey is also known for her advocacy work, as she announced plans to create a short film called Saving Father to raise awareness for people living with AIDS. She received positive reviews for her role as 'Imani' in the film Tomorrow Ever After (2016).
