Ebony Obsidian

Ebony Obsidian is an American actress known for her roles in both film and television. Born on April 16, 1994, in New Paltz, New York, she has Eritrean Habesha heritage. Obsidian trained at the William Esper Studio and began her acting career in independent films such as The Vixens and Where Hearts Lie, sharing the screen with notable actors like Malik Yoba and Clifton Powell. In 2018, she gained recognition for her supporting role in the drama film If Beale Street Could Talk. She has also made appearances in popular television shows, including Wu-Tang: An American Saga and Hunters. Currently, she stars as Karen Mott in the BET comedy-drama series, Sistas.
