Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter, born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax, West Yorkshire. He began writing songs at the age of eleven and gained recognition with the release of his extended play No. 5 Collaborations Project in 2011. Sheeran signed with Asylum Records the same year.
