Eddie Alderson

Eddie Alderson (born October 27, 1994) is an American actor known for his role as Matthew Buchanan on the ABC Daytime soap opera One Life to Live from 2001 to 2012. He was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to parents Rich and Kathy Alderson. Alderson's performance on One Life to Live received critical acclaim and earned him two Young Artist Award nominations in 2009, as well as a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2012. In addition to his soap opera work, Alderson has appeared in films such as Reservation Road (2007) and Changeling (2008). He was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in November 2016.
