Eddie Barth Biography
Eddie Barth (September 29, 1931 – May 28, 2010), born Edward Michael Bartholetti, was an American actor known for his raspy vocals which earned him the nickname Mr. Gravel in his voiceover work. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Barth portrayed Myron Fowler in 38 episodes of the television series Simon & Simon from 1981 to 1989. He also appeared in regular roles on Night Court, Murder, She Wrote, Civil Wars, and Stone, as well as portraying a police lieutenant on the series Shaft. Barth's notable voiceover credits include commercials for Miller Lite, the animated series Superman, the film Osmosis Jones, and Babe: Pig in the City. Eddie Barth passed away due to heart complications.
