    Eddie Brill is an American comedian, writer, and actor, best known for his work as the warm-up comedian and comedy talent coordinator of Late Show with David Letterman. Born in New York City and raised in Hollywood, Florida, Brill attended Emerson College, where he co-founded the Emerson Comedy Workshop, alongside Denis Leary, Chris Phillips, and Adam Roth. He later helped create the first comedy writing department in a college, along with fellow alum Norman Lear. Brill began performing stand-up in college and continued after starting a comedy club in NYC named The Paper Moon. He has toured internationally since 1989 and has appeared on over 100 TV shows.
