Eddie Lucas

Edward Howard 'Eddie' Lucas (born July 14, 1975) is an American retired professional basketball player and current production manager for Highland Construction in Fayetteville, NC. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz as the 58th and final overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft. Lucas did not secure a spot on the team and went on to play for professional basketball teams in Argentina, France, Russia, Israel, and Poland over the course of three seasons. Prior to his professional career, Lucas excelled in high school and college basketball, earning honors such as Most Valuable Player and All-League Patriot Honors. He majored in civil engineering at Virginia Tech.
