Eddie Spears Biography
Eddie Spears, born Edward Spears on November 29, 1982, is an Indigenous American actor and member of the Kul Wičaša Oyate Lakota from the Lower Brulé Sioux Tribe of South Dakota. He was born in Chamberlain, South Dakota and grew up on the Lower Brulé Indian Reservation until his family moved to Pierre and later to Aberdeen, South Dakota. Spears made his acting debut at the age of ten in TNT's production of Geronimo. One of his most rewarding roles was playing Shane Chasing Horse in the 2003 film Dreamkeeper. He also trained for three months with boxing trainer Jimmy Gambia for his lead role in the 2004 film Black Cloud, directed by Rick Schroder.
