Eddie Vedder, born on December 23, 1964, is an American singer, musician, and songwriter. He is best known as the lead vocalist and one of three guitarists for the rock band Pearl Jam. Vedder also served as a guest vocalist for the supergroup Temple of the Dog. He gained recognition for his powerful baritone vocals and was ranked seventh on Rolling Stone's list of 'Best Lead Singers of All Time.' Vedder released his first solo album, the soundtrack for the film Into the Wild, in 2007. He has since released two more solo albums, Ukulele Songs in 2011 and Earthling in 2022. In 2017, Vedder was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Pearl Jam.
