Edgar Wright is an English filmmaker known for his fast-paced and kinetic, satirical genre films. Born on April 18, 1974, Wright began his career by making independent short films before directing his first feature film, A Fistful of Fingers, in 1995. He has created and directed various television shows, including the comedy series Asylum in 1996 and the sitcom Spaced from 1999 to 2001.
