Edmund Donovan

Edmund Donovan is an American theater, film and television actor. He gained recognition for his performances in stage plays, winning the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play, Lucille Lortel Award, and Obie Award for his role in Greater Clements by Samuel D. Hunter in 2020. He also received a nomination for the same awards in 2019 for his role in Lewiston/Clarkston. Donovan has appeared in various television shows including Hightown, Betty, High Fidelity, and Orange Is the New Black. In film, he portrayed Christopher in the critically acclaimed movie Akron, which received multiple awards at LGBT film festivals. Donovan is a graduate of Boston University's College of Fine Arts and holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama.
