Eduardo Franco Zannier (15 March 1945 – 1 February 1989) was a Uruguayan singer and composer who gained international fame as the vocalist of the melodic group Los Iracundos. With Los Iracundos, Franco rose to international acclaim in the mid-1960s with romantic hits such as 'Calla', 'Todo erminó', and 'El desengaño'. He also appeared in the film Este loco verano and Locos por la musica, where he not only acted but also performed songs from his repertoire. Eduardo Franco passed away from terminal cancer to the lymphatic ganglions in his hometown on 1 February 1989, after enduring the demands of his profession for several years.
