Edward Akrout is a Franco-British artist and actor known for his work on both screen and stage. Born in Paris, Akrout grew up between France and England. He studied philosophy at the Sorbonne and later attended Le Cours Florent in Paris for theatre, as well as the National Institute in Bucharest. Akrout further honed his acting skills at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in England. Notable television appearances include his role as The Dauphin in The Hollow Crown, Yves D'Allegre in The Borgias, Laurent Debienne in Genius Picasso, and Diego in Killing Eve. He has also featured in the film Rodin, directed by Jacques Doillon. Akrout's grandfather, Air Commodore Anthony Norman Davis, was a British Royal Air Force officer and pilot during the Second World War.
