Edward Baker-Duly is a British actor known for his work in both television and theatre. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden to British and Swedish parents and has lived in various countries including the United Kingdom, Ethiopia, and South Africa. In UK television, he portrayed the no-nonsense sports master, Chris Malachay, in the long-running BBC school drama, Grange Hill. He also played Joe Fisher in the ITV1 soap Emmerdale and appeared in the BBC comedy drama show Micro Men as entrepreneur Hermann Hauser. Additionally, he portrayed Joachim von Ribbentrop in the BBC Wales/Masterpiece reprise of Upstairs, Downstairs. In theatre, he has appeared in productions such as West Side Story, South Pacific, and originated the role of Ashley Wilkes in Trevor Nunn's West End musical adaptation of Gone With The Wind.
