Edward Holcroft Biography
Edward Patrick Holcroft (born June 23, 1987) is an English actor known for his work in film, television, and stage. He gained recognition for his roles in the Kingsman film franchise, as well as his appearances in the television series Wolf Hall (2015), London Spy (2015), and Alias Grace (2017). Holcroft was born in England and is the second of three sons. His father, Lt. Col. Patrick Holcroft, served as a soldier, and his mother, Kathleen Holcroft, worked as a former publisher at Condé Nast. Holcroft attended Summer Fields School and later Ampleforth College. Initially interested in music, he transitioned to acting after participating in a play at Oxford Brookes University. He further honed his acting skills through post-graduate studies at Drama Centre London, part of Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
