Edwin Freeman

Edwin Freeman (5 June 1886 – 1945) was an English cricketer and footballer. He played as a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler in sixteen first-class cricket matches. Freeman scored a total of 133 runs, with a highest score of 30, and took six wickets, with a best performance of three for 62. In football, he began his career as an amateur with Stoke in the 1904–05 season and later played for Northampton Town in the 1920–21 season, appearing in 28 matches. Freeman also had a stint with non-league side Regent Templars. He was active in both sports from 1908 to 1920.
