Eileen Walsh Biography
Eileen Walsh (born April 16, 1977) is an Irish actress known for her versatile performances. Raised in Cork, Ireland, Walsh initially had no plans of pursuing acting until she was inspired by her elder sister Catherine, who was also an actress. She began attending theatre workshops and soon landed her breakthrough role as Runt in the stage production of Disco Pigs, which garnered critical acclaim. Walsh went on to star in notable films such as When Brendan Met Trudy, The Magdalene Sisters, and The End. In 2008, she received the Best Actress award at the Tribeca Film Festival for her role in Eden. Walsh also appeared in two episodes of Patrick Melrose in 2018.
