Eldra 'El' Patrick DeBarge (born June 4, 1961) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He gained fame as the lead singer of the family group DeBarge, known for hits like 'Time Will Reveal' and 'Rhythm of the Night'. El DeBarge also had a successful solo career, known for his unique high tenor register and strong falsetto, with popular songs including 'Who's Johnny' and 'Love Always'. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Dionne Warwick, Al Green, and Quincy Jones. DeBarge is a five-time Grammy Award nominee.
