Eleanor Audley
Eleanor Audley (1905-1991) was an American actress known for her distinctive voice and versatile acting skills. She gained recognition for her role as Eunice Douglas, Oliver Douglas's mother, on the CBS sitcom Green Acres (1965-1969). Audley also made a significant contribution to Disney animated features, providing the voices for two iconic villains: Lady Tremaine in Cinderella (1950) and Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty (1959). In addition to her film work, she was highly active in radio programs such as My Favorite Husband and Father Knows Best. Audley appeared in various television shows including I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and The Beverly Hillbillies.
