Eline Powell

Eline Powell (born Eline Pauwels on April 12, 1990) is a Belgian actress known for her role as the titular character in the American TV series Siren. She is the daughter of Belgian pharmacologist Rudi Pauwels and clinical researcher Carine Claeys, who co-founded the biotech company Tibotec. Powell was born in Leuven and lived in Mechelen until the age of fourteen. After a brief time in Switzerland, she relocated to England, but retains Belgian citizenship and considers Belgium her home. Powell graduated with a BA degree in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2011. She began her career with the award-winning short film For Elsie, portraying the character of Mila.
