Elisabeth Bumiller
Elisabeth Bumiller (born May 15, 1956) is an American author and journalist. She is currently the Washington bureau chief for The New York Times. Born in Aalborg, Denmark, Bumiller moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, at a young age. She attended Walnut Hills High School, where she reported for the school newspaper. Bumiller graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 1977 and received a master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1979. She began her career at the Miami Herald and later joined The Washington Post's 'Style' section as a party reporter. Bumiller's work has made her a prominent figure in American journalism.
