She also received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance in Allegro in 2015. Elizabeth released her independent album, The Apple Tree, in 2023, which serves as a concept album for her play, CHILD(LESS). Additionally, she wrote the book, music, and lyrics for MY NAME’S NOT INDIAN JOE. Elizabeth Anne Davis was born in Dumas, Texas, and raised in Channing, Texas. Her parents, Melody and Frank Davis, were involved in the arts, and her father served as the former superintendent of the Channing Independent School District.
