Elizabeth Whitmere is a Canadian actress known for her work in both the United States and Canada. Born and raised in northern Canada, she incorporates her upbringing into the development of her characters and stand-up comedy. Whitmere began her acting career at a young age and received formal training at Walnut Hill School, a performing arts boarding school in Natick, Massachusetts. After working in Montreal, she later relocated to Toronto in 2004 and now splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles. In addition to her acting career, Whitmere has also written for the comedy show 'Comedy Inc.' In 2005, she married Terry McGurrin, who starred in the show.
