Ella Jay Basco

Ella Jay Basco is an American actress born on September 17, 2006, known for her role as Cassandra Cain in the 2020 film Birds of Prey. She hails from Los Angeles and comes from a Filipino and Korean background. Basco began her career at a young age, appearing in a print advertisement for Old Navy when she was just six months old. She went on to make several television appearances and commercials before landing her breakthrough film role. In addition to her acting career, Basco is also a musician, having released her first EP titled Middle School in 2020, featuring the song The Ballad of Cassandra Cain. She continues to pursue both acting and music, releasing singles such as Eye to Eye and Bubble Tea in 2022.
