Ella Summer Purnell (born September 17, 1996) is an English actress known for her work in film and television. She began her acting career as a child and gained recognition for her roles in the films Never Let Me Go (2010), Intruders (2011), Wildlike, and Maleficent (both 2014). Purnell has appeared in various television shows including Ordeal by Innocence (2018), Sweetbitter (2018-2019), Belgravia (2020), and Yellowjackets (2021-2023). Her notable film credits include Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), Churchill (2017), and Army of the Dead (2021). Purnell has also lent her voice to the characters Jinx in the Netflix series Arcane and Gwyn in Star Trek: Prodigy (2021).
