Eleanor Nancy Macpherson, born on March 29, 1964, is an Australian model, businesswoman, television host, and actress. Known for her five Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covers in the 1980s, she earned the nickname 'The Body.' Macpherson founded and served as the primary model and creative director for various ventures, including Elle Macpherson Intimates, a lingerie line, and The Body, a skincare line. From 2010 to 2013, she hosted and executive produced Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model. Additionally, she acted in supporting roles in films like Sirens (1994), The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996), and Batman and Robin (1997), and starred in The Edge (1997) and South Kensington (2001). She also had a recurring role on Friends and hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live.
