Ellen Bry

Ellen Bry is an American actress known for her role as nurse-turned-vigilante Shirley Daniels on the hospital drama St. Elsewhere. She gained acting experience through school plays, community theater productions, and summer stock theatre. Bry briefly worked as a paralegal for New York City's Department of Consumer Affairs before getting involved in stunt work after a scripted fight on Kojak. She also appeared as medical student Jean Hallinan in three episodes of Dallas and as photographer Julie Masters on The Amazing Spider-Man. Born in Stamford, Connecticut, Bry started her acting career at a young age.
