Ellen D. Williams

Ellen D. Williams is an American theatre and TV actress best known for her role as Patrice in the TV show How I Met Your Mother. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Long Beach. Since then, she has appeared in various TV shows including The Mindy Project, Life in Pieces, Criminal Minds, The Real O'Neals, Pitch, Kevin from Work, and more. In 2016, Williams started recurring on the FX show Baskets, alongside Zach Galifianakis, playing the character Nicole Baskets. She has also been involved in numerous theatre productions in Los Angeles and Seattle, working with companies such as Playwrights Arena at LATC, East West Players, and South Coast Repertory, among others.
