Ellen Wong

Ellen Wong is a Canadian actress known for her roles in movies and TV shows. She was born in Scarborough, Ontario, to Chinese Cambodian parents who fled to Canada during the Cambodian genocide. Wong began acting in community theatre while attending L'Amoreaux Collegiate Institute and later studied radio and television arts at Ryerson University. She has appeared in various television series such as This Is Wonderland and Runaway. Wong is best known for her roles as Knives Chau in the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and the animated series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, as well as Jill 'Mouse' Chen in The CW's The Carrie Diaries and Jenny Chey in the Netflix series GLOW. In addition to her acting career, Wong has a black belt in taekwondo.
